I had no idea Roget (as in Roget’s Thesaurus) was French.
I am afflicted with all of this, all of the time. Especially for technology words. MySQL? SATA? Computer? Smartphone? (Turns out it’s “smayrtfonee”.) Come on, words!
Yeah, I’m guilty of this. I remember the first time I said the word ‘diode’ it was super awkward.
